Dr. Veninger-Robert is the Repatriation Coordinator and Indigenous Cultural Property Steward with the Connecticut Office of State Archaeology at the University of Connecticut. Before coming to UConn Jackie worked in heritage management for tribal governments and federal agencies. She is a non-voting member of Connecticut’s Native American Heritage Advisory Council.
