<p>The American Humanist Association is having their 2023 conference in Denver, Colorado. The conference starts on Friday May 5th at 9:00 AM MOUNTAIN DAYLIGHT TIME - which works out to 11:00 AM Eastern Daylight Time. <p>One of the world's busiest and most highly populated cities, London is home to the world's oldest underground railway. Originally developed in the 1860's, the capacity the system must deal with has become strained. Now after fifteen years a solution has emerged - a new subway line constructed deep under the streets of London at a cost of roughly 15 billion dollars, and expanding the system's capacity to deal with the increased ridership of the twenty first century, This is the story of how this was accomplished.</p>
<p>This is an in-person meeting. We'll watch and discuss a video on the construction of the Elizabeth Line.</p>
