<p>The last ten years have been great; life is wonderful, and there is money out there for the taking. How can we miss? It is 1929, and the economy is on a seemingly upward trajectory that will keep getting better. This message, pushed by Herbert Hoover and the Republican Party, is incontrovertible in the minds of most Americans. There are storm clouds gathering on the horizon, which will explode in the market crash of 1929 and usher in the Great Depression of the nineteen-thirties, which will not only affect America but the whole world. How could this have possibly happened? Join us for this program for some answers and the cautionary impact for us today in light of the current economic and political environment: Black Tuesday, Black Thursday, and the Stock Market Crash of 1929.</p>
