I haven't had time to check with Yale, but a close reading of the Dawkins itinerary shows that he has New York appearances just before and just after the quondam-scheduled New Haven one, and it seems likely that he found a trip to our area to be unrealistic.

The Richard Dawkins website maintains that this event is cancelled. Does anyone know for sure if it is?
Thank you,

Shalom Community Leaders, SHJ Board, Administrators, SHJ Rabbis and Leaders,
I've included the Richard Dawkins book tour information in this email. Since he will be either in many of the areas where we have communities or close by those areas, I thought these events would offer some programming opportunities. I just received this less than 10 minutes ago. I realize that the events begin this evening. I, too, wish this had been sent to us in a more timely manner. Miriam
