The
Next Conversations will be November 6. 
The meeting of October 3 is being cancelled.

 

 

We have noticed that there is, not a
conflict of times, but a crowding of events around that date.  We'll continue with the topic previously decided
upon which is not time sensitive.

 

At the September meeting we decided to view
a video recorded at a conference in Asia. 
It is a short part of a discussion in which one idea presented is that agriculture
is the current arena for the exercise of hege-mony.  Of course, the wielders of the powers of
hegemony are  …?  Us (as in, "We have met the enemy and he
is us.")
