[Hac-announce] Darwin event in Hamden

To all list members,

On October 15 the Humanist Association of Connecticut agreed to consider 
collaborating on an intergenerational Darwin Day event at Unitarian Society 
of New Haven such as Cary has described below, contingent on additional 
arrangements.  Detailed plans were to have been made in early January.

In the interim, however, owing to circumstances beyond our control it has 
become impossible to make the necessary additional arrangements for this 
event at USNH on Saturday, February 12.  We very much regret that we will 
have to cancel the event for this year.

I found, through a national site, darwinday.org, that there will be a Darwin 
Day event at the Unitarian Society of New Haven on Saturday Feb 12.  Below 
you will find the information.

If you really want to celebrate you could go to both the Friday night Feb 11 
Darwin Day Dinner described in my previous email (see darwindayCT.org), AND 
this Feb 12 event.
