  There will be a meeting of Humanists and like-minded people on Friday, September 23 at 6PM in Portland, CT. David Niose, President of the American Humanist Association, will be special guest and speaker. Buffet dinner (includes hor'dourves, main course, salads, sides, soft drinks, coffee/tea & dessert) will be $25 per person, Open cash bar will also be available. I plan on being there.   We are in the process of uniting all the local atheist / agnostic / secular humanist / freethinker groups in CT for the purpose of forming a more unified voice and presence in our community as well as our state legislature. We would like to extend our warmest invitation out to you to join us in a meet and greet dinner where we will take our first step in creating a secular unity in our state.  Please join us for a meet and greet networking dinner where we will get to know one another, address secular issues and discuss what we'd like to accomplish with the power of a unified group.
