[Hac-announce] Connecticut Food Bank "Walk Against Hunger" update...

Hello everyone,

I received an email from Connecticut Food Bank this morning with some 
last minute information about Sunday's walk at East Rock Park in New 
Haven.  If you're planning on joining the HAC walking team, you may find 
this helpful.

First:

> We are asking TEAM CAPTAINS ONLY to come to the Check in area.

So, please find the rest of the walking team.  We should be under the 
trees near the path from the intersection of Cold Spring St. & Orange 
St. to the park's pavilion.  I will go and check in on behalf of the 
team no earlier than 1:15 PM.  That should give us time to complete the 
process well before the 2:00 PM start time for the walk.

We will be able to add you to the team if you arrive after I have 
checked in.

Second:

> On-line registration will close at 5 pm on Saturday, May 5, but don't
> worry, you can still register to participate at the Park!

So, if you're planning on walking with us and would like to register 
online, please do so before the deadline.

If you're not able to join the walk, we'll be happy to accept donations 
online or at Saturday's "Humanist Conversations" meeting.
