The 2013 Poverty Guidelines, set by the Federal Government, is used to
determine whether a family qualifies for assistance (SNAP, healthcare,
rental assistance, etc.). It is also used by non-profits to determine
qualification for some of their programs. Levels are set so low, that many
programs let you earn more – usually 150% more. To see these levels, visit
