[Hac-announce] Announcement to HAC Members & Friends

Long-time HAC member Tom Platt died peacefully in his sleep in the nursing section at Whitney Center around midnight last night. 
Halina Platt wrote that she is grateful that his suffering was not prolonged.
Once details are provided about a memorial service, etc., we will pass the information along.
