[Hac-announce] An opportunity to address food insecurity

The USNH Food Bank, coordinated by HAC member Margaret Ariori, has an ongoing collection of shelf stable goods. For the next couple of months, there is a special request for items for Thanksgiving meals:
Cranberry Sauce
Gravy
Instant Mashed Potatoes
Stuffing Mixes
Pumpkin pie Ingredients

In addition, small denomination Gift Cards for Stop&Shop and ShopRite are always helpful; Margaret or Carol or I can get them to the right place.

Please try to bring a few contributions when you come to USNH for Explorations or any Monthly Meeting.
Items can be left on the dedicated shelves in the back of the coat closet.
This food gets delivered to the Keefe Senior Center and the Hamden Food Bank, as well as being accessed for any needs within the membership and the Day Care Center.
