[Hac-announce] Reminder & Supplementary Reading: September 2018 Book Discussion: "Fantasyland" by Kurt Anderson

Reminder that we'll be discussing Fantasyland this Saturday. For those reading the book and/or attending, I've attached the preface to Morris Berman's Why America Failed; a starting point of that book, which elucidates a thesis similar to Andersen's, was Walter McDougall's Freedom is Just Around the Corner, which Andersen also draws on.

Our book for September is Fantasyland: How America went Haywire: a 500-Year History by journalist Kurt Anderson. The discussion will take place Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 2 pm in the library of the Unitarian Society of New Haven at 700 Hartford Turnpike, Hamden.
